OUR JOURNEY STARTS HERE...

Photography has changed my entire life. It started for me in college. I had an old camera of my great uncles and took a dark room class my first year. Watching the work come to life became a passion. I began taking photos for others after I graduated from college. It became a fun hobby on the side that I did to explore the craft. Little did I know that it would become the only thing I every wanted to do again. I put off starting my business for YEARS. It wasn't long ago I realized life is too short. On July 10, 2021 I gave birth to our son, Aven Robert McCann. He was stillborn, but absolutely perfect. Losing him completely shattered me. I knew it was time to stop living in fear and letting the fear of failing control me. I decided to find something positive each and everyday, and to live, for Aven.

Had it not been for my amazing sister, Crissa, I would not have the beautiful photos of my sweet baby boy Aven. Going through this traumatic event led to what is now Aven Angel Photography. Crissa is now my assistant photographer and we are taking on this adventure together. I could not be more thankful for the best partner and friend in my sister.

The saying 'a photo is worth a thousand words' comes to mind. Capturing that single second of time can be priceless.
